With the invitation of the principal of Yaumati Kaifong Association School, the President and the General Secretary of BAHK attended the graduation ceremony of the school as the representative of Bangladesh Association of Hong Kong.

As one of the co-organizers, BAHK celebrated the 27th Anniversary of the Establishment Day of HKSAR on 30 June 2024 with the New Home Association, Hong Kong, at Yau Tsim Mong Multicultural Activity Centre.

BAHK organized a vibrant Eid Reunion on 13 April 2023 at the Pakistan Club, bringing the community together in a delightful gathering. The event was attended by community members along with the esteemed presence of the Consul of Bangladesh in Hong Kong. It was an evening filled with the spirit of Eid-ul-Fitr.

BAHK arranged a get-together at the park adjacent to Kowloon Majid on Eid Day (10th April 2024) after Eid payers for the Bangladeshi community members. Members attended the gathering to meet each other and exchange Eid greetings. Traditional Semai and light refreshments have been served to the participants.

To show our unity and commitment to the Muslim community in Hong Kong, BAHK collected Iftar funds from the community members and donated it to the Masjids and Madrasas in Hong Kong that offered free Iftar to the Muslim community during Ramadan.

The Bangladesh Association of Hong Kong celebrated International Mother Language Day on February 21, 2024, at the Theatre Hall of Sheung Wan Civic Centre. The event was held in collaboration with the Bangladesh Consulate General in Hong Kong. Distinguished guests including Consul Generals from various countries and members of the community attended the event.

BAHK organized a ‘Beach Cleanup’ event on January 28, 2024, at Butterfly Beach (Ungazetted Beach Area). The event aimed to promote environmental awareness in the community, and community members actively participated.

BAHK organized a ‘Pitha Utshob’ festival on January 21, 2024, at the Henry G. Leong Community Centre. The festival aimed to celebrate the rich tradition of Pitha and foster a sense of community among female members. With active participation from our female members, the event was a great success, representing our cherished tradition and culture.

On December 16, 2023, BAHK organized a basketball match to celebrate the Victory Day of Bangladesh. The community’s youth formed teams and participated in the tournament, which was enjoyed by community members.

BAHK’s Football Team took part in the Multi-Cultural Football Tournament 2023, organized by DAB. The tournament was held on August 19, 2023, in Yuen Long, as part of the celebrations for the 26th anniversary of HKSAR’s return to the motherland.

BAHK arranged an Eid-ul-Adha reunion program for its members on 08 July 2022 at the Pakistan Club. Honorable Consuls of the Consulate General of Bangladesh in Hong Kong, BAHK members, and their family members attended the event to celebrate Eid together.
