Annual Result DistriobutionCeremony of Bangla School for the session 2023-2024
BAHK/ Bangla School organized the ‘Annual Result Distribution Ceremony’ of Bangla School on 29 June 2024 at the school premises after successfully completing the academic session 2023-2024. Teachers, students, parents, and BAHK EC participated in the ceremony. Report Cards, Certificates & Awards given to the students.
Eid-ul-Adha Reunion 2024
BAHK organized an Eid Reunion on 28 July 2024 at the Pakistan Club. The community members got together to share the Eid spirit in a family gathering. The Consul General of the Consulate General of Bangladesh in Hong Kong, Ms. Israt Ara, graced the program as the chief guest. BAHK members and their families attended the program, exchanged Eid greetings, and enjoyed the memorable evening.
Eid-ul-Adha Gathering on the Eid Day at Kowloon Park
BAHK arranged an Eid gathering on the 17th June 2024 after Eid Prayers at the park adjacent to the Kowloon Mosque. Community members attended the event. Traditional Semai and light refreshments have been served to the participants.
Celebration of the 20th Anniversary of the Bangladesh Association of Hong Kong
Bangladesh Association of Hong Kong (BAHK) celebrated its 20th anniversary on May 18, 2024, at the HKCEC Theatre 1.
Ms. Israt Ara, Consul General, Consulate General of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh in Hong Kong, Mr. Vincent Cheng, Legislative Councillor, Mr. Clement Woo, Under Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland
Affairs, Ms. Linda Lam, Chairperson, Equal Opportunity Commission and other distinguished guests were present at the event.
After the ceremony, a “Community Harmony Cultural Show” was performed by local performers and artists from Bangladesh.
Disneyland Visit of Bangla School
BAHK arranged 100 free tickets for the Bangla School students to visit Disneyland on 12 May 2024 to give them an enjoyable outing as part of their ECA. Teachers, parents, students and EC members attended the event. They all enjoyed the attractive rides in Disneyland. Participants thanked the BAHK EC for organising such a great event.
